Biff, Bang, Pow: Numero Collects Complete Recordings Of U.K. Psych-Rockers The Creation

Numero Group is turning back the clock to the days of The British Invasion.  On March 17, the feisty Chicago indie continues its musical archaeology with a 2-CD or 2-LP set dedicated to the studio recordings of The Creation.  Action Painting features 42 original tracks recorded between 1965 and 1968, all newly remastered by producer Shel Talmy (The Who, The Kinks) from the original master tapes, and in new stereo mixes where possible. Over the brief period of 1966-1968, The Creation released

Playing with Electric Trains: Squeeze's Chris Difford to Release Solo Box Set

Arguably one of the finest British songwriting duos since Lennon and McCartney, Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook have made perfect, powerful pop as leaders of Squeeze since the release of their first material in 1977--all the way up to an out-of-nowhere triumph with 2015's Cradle to the Grave, the band's first album of new material in more than 15 years. Since that initial dissolution of the duo's partnership after 1998's Domino, both Chris and Glenn sought to found their voices as solo

Looking Out For Love: Fleetwood Mac's "Tango in the Night" Due as Deluxe Set

Three decades after it was first released--and following similarly expansive editions for three of the group's earlier albums from this period--Warner Bros. Records and Rhino will expand and reissue Fleetwood Mac's 14th studio album, Tango in the Night. The last studio album from the band's modern classic line-up of Lindsey Buckingham (vocals/guitar), Stevie Nicks (vocals), Christine McVie (vocals/keyboards), John McVie (bass) and Mick Fleetwood (drums), Tango in the Night marked the group's
