Landmark Recovery of Louisville
Treatment Facility
"Each person's journey with Landmark Recovery begins with a thorough medical and psychosocial assessment. Our team of psychiatric, medical, nursing and clinical professionals collaborate to tailor an individualized plan of care. Each individual's history and needs will be different, therefore a plan of care must reflect this. Most patients entering Landmark begin our medical detoxification program. Every person is safely stepped down off the substance(s) they were on in a medically managed environment. We provide 24 hour nursing care to assist with this process. Next, individuals begin our clinical component of treatment consisting of group and individual therapy. Educational seminars are provided, teaching coping skills to address relapse that can occur after treatment has ended. Furthermore, the treatment modalities used by our clinical staff are evidenced based with long term recovery as our primary focus. Thorough discharge planning begins on day one at Landmark, as the aftercare placement is critical. Patients are introduced and connected with recovery support groups upon discharge. These supports, including 12 step programs, will assist in forming a basis of sober support."
Kasey Brady
Clinical Social Work/Therapist,
LCSW
"My practice focuses primarily on individuals and couples who are dealing with traumas, addictions and communication issues. I give my patients the support to sort through the racket in their heads and find clarity. Many times emotional issues stem from events in our lives which have been either buried or minimized. I help my patients explore these events in order to identify the old beliefs and ideas that created disfunctional coping mechanisms. Once identified, these old ideas and beliefs can be replaced with new healthier ones."
