I would like to thank EVERYONE who attended the Rojotango Live concert in Budapest, the audience, Lidia Baich and the Rojotango Live ensemble (Robert Olisa, Alejandro Loguercio, Rusanda Panfili, Teodora Miteva, Gina Schwarz, Claudio Constantini, Federico Lechner, Ingrid Oberkanis, Alvaro Rovira), the Vígszínház and Budapesti Tavaszi Fesztivál staff, and EVERYONE who, despite not being there in person, was there with us with their hearts, wearing blue for World Autism Awareness Day.

Hola everyone! As you probably know, I’ll be performing in Budapest with the Rojotango Live ensemble on 2nd April, which is also the World Autism Awareness Day.
To mark the day, the Művészetek Palotája (Palace of Arts) in Budapest will be lit in blue, too, and I’m asking you all to please wear something BLUE on that day, especially those of you who will attend the Rojotango Live concert at the Budapesti Tavaszi Fesztivál: we will take a beautiful, BLUE group picture of us all wearing all shades of blue at the end of the show.
All those who can’t attend the show in Budapest, please send us pictures of you wearing something blue on 2nd April, and/or pictures of landmark buildings lit up in blue in your city for World Autism Awareness Day.

Sometimes we tend to think technology is alienating us from reality, especially when walking down the street all you can see is people too busy staring at their smartphones, not really paying attention to what’s happening around them. Still, technology is so very helpful when people you love are so far away from you, especially when you’re apart for a consistent amount of time.
So, today my parents were on the other side of the computer screen, in Uruguay, waving hello to Tiago and me, in New York, Tiago trying to explain to them the rules of the game he was playing on his iPad… but as this run of Elisir ends tonight, and I’ll be heading to Europe tomorrow, it will be my turn during the next weeks to be on the other side of the screen, saying hello and talking to Tiago. It’s not the same as being together, I know, and he knows that already too. But the good thing is he’s more tech-savvy than me, so it will seem less strange to him than to me.
Tiago knows that, and Iara does too. So although I’m sad I’ll be seeing my Principito through Skype only for the next few weeks, at the same time I’m also happy because I’ll soon be seeing my Princesa again, because yes, technology is good and can help us keeping in touch when we’re far away from each other, but it will never be enough for me, because it can’t replace the feeling of holding my children in my arms, it feels so good when we’re together.
