Compare it with this: if you have reasons not to eat meat, do those apply also when not to eat fish? You say: cancelling because you think a country is ‘bad’ means you should cancel all countries that are bad for some reason. Apples, pears.

I don’t bring excuses, I give examples. Precisely as you do: you describe the exact difference between the two countries. I think Lorde has her reasons - these don’t necessarily have to match yours or mine.
