AND NOW FOR THE REST OF THE DETAILS?
-
Yup, these videos are always clipped very short to obscure the full context.

I can't believe you won't take my most generous offer of a Ferrari with unlimited free gasoline (note Ferrari may only be driven within a five mile radius) in exchange for the entire neighbourhood surrounding said radius

And he’s proud of it. That’s the upside down twisted point he’s making!!

Thank you Abbas for refusing from the people of Israel. It's clear that you culture don't believe in peace. Your corrupt primitive system show that you care only about yourself. Hope that Israel get brain and kick you all back to your Arab countries.

Abba Evan was right: the Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

What he doesn’t mention of course is that, according to Elliot Abrams, the Americans were telling Abbas not to take the offer because Olmert was mired in corruption scandals. He resigned a few days later.

What a deal! How on earth did Israel mess that up? They "must have done something." They "always do." It can not be Abbas's fault.
#LawOfNature -
Well, Olmert, mired in corruption scandals, resigned a few days later. I guess that was the Palestinians’ fault?
-
Abbas could still have taken the deal.
-
The Americans advised him not to. They were concerned that any deal with Olmert as its sponsor would be dead in the water. Bear in mind, Abbas didn’t reject it. Before he responded Olmert had resigned.
-
Accepting the deal would have set a benchmark making it difficult to go back & he had the US President in his corner - that became clearer as time went on. He continued avoiding negotiating for the duration. I was surprised. Something else seems to be up.
-
Except that the US president was not keen on him taking the deal either since he felt any deal with Olmert as its sponsor would have been dead in the water.
-
The president & sec. of state were keen on Olmert’s deal actually and Olmert quit the PM’s office on schedule, after elections. You’re wrong on this I’m afraid.

See this extract from Nathan Thrall’s book which addresses the US position.https://books.google.se/books?id=1oXZDAAAQBAJ&pg=PA183&lpg=PA183&dq=the+only+language+they+understand+olmert+as+its+sponsor&source=bl&ots=-D8SeopDCs&sig=ACfU3U3yFRP2PKD_7g-cMDEarohLgrS6zg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjvyN3r79vhAhWPepoKHbZ8CQIQ6AEwAnoECAYQAQ#v=onepage&q=the%20only%20language%20they%20understand%20olmert%20as%20its%20sponsor&f=false …
