This #IWD2019 I'm thinking about how so many of the stories I've covered this year have actually centred around women demanding change in their faith communities - and it's usually because male members and leaders of the community are hindering said progress.

I'm no longer surprised that traditionally male-led religious communities aren't offering women bespoke female support - but it's 2019! You can follow a social teaching that puts men in leadership roles *AND STILL* make sure women are safe and happy!
