NO. Unnecessary and blatantly pushing a line that doesn't need crossing.
An advert for sanitary towels has replaced blue liquid with red 'blood' to fight taboos surrounding periods. http://bbc.in/2zm5ScT pic.twitter.com/W8026JonZj

Yes, it's necessary, it's red every month, not blue or green. Don' t be afraid of whats really happened on ours bodies.
-
No woman is afraid and no woman doesn't know what the reality is. It's this foisting on unexpecting viewers that is unnecessary and in my opinion, wrong. Google can handle most questions about woman's periods.

Men can't see blood?
-
Just stop. Men, women. No one needs to see menstrual blood on a pad. Pick another fight.

And i see and clean menstrual blood every month: I'm a true survivor!pic.twitter.com/5AAq72Jb7q

Beeing too truistic about everything in life insn't empowering anyone: shall we see poop on diapers ads, semen on condoms ads? Bad vibes!
-
I'll think that's just already happend but it's no the same

Why don't you fight a genuine taboo by reporting honestly and fairly on thousands of innocents incarcerated
