Think you’re missing the bigger point (however valid gay/trans rights are). The Palestinian people suffer fundamental human rights violations across the board within Israel - the system is akin to apartheid.

They thought they knew better. You think they know better. But who better knows the struggle and strategy of Palestinians than Palestinians? Respect the boycott, or disrespect it, the decision is yours. But be honest about it!

Exactly. Palestinians, including LGBTQ Palestinians, Palestinian artists, called for a boycott. Yet, "well meaning" Westerners, ie opportunists, think they know better, cross the picket line, and then try to cover up for their scab actions by holding up a Palestinian flag.
