Kaspersky Internet Security 2015

If an installation error occurs, the Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 Setup Wizard will prompt you to download Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool:

• If you agree to install the utility, the Setup Wizard downloads it from the Kaspersky Lab servers, after which the installation of the utility starts automatically.
• If Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 setup wizard cannot download the tool from Kaspersky Lab servers, the application will prompt you to download the tool manually by clicking the download link.

To download Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2015 and scan your computer, do the following:

1. Download Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2015. The following pages contain information on how to download the file:
   • For Windows 8 users
   • For Windows 7 users
   • For Windows Vista users
2. Copy the downloaded installer to the infected computer.
3. Install Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2015.
4. Start Scan in Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool.
5. Try to install Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 once again.

To start working with Kaspersky Rescue Disk, do the following:

1. Record Kaspersky Rescue Disk to a CD/DVD or a USB drive and boot your computer from it.
2. Run full computer scan using Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10.

If the issue persists, but Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 and Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2011 have not detected any infected objects on the computer, contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky service. Attach the following data to your request:

• Registration data (date and place of purchase, customer name, activation code).
• Detailed description / a screenshot of an error.
• The AVZ utility log:
  • Download the avz4.com archive from the Kaspersky Lab server. The following pages contain information on how to download the file:
    • For Windows 8 users
    • For Windows 7 users
    • For Windows Vista users
  • Run the avz.com file.
  • Select the File menu.
  • Select Custom Scripts from the drop-down menu.
  • Copy and paste the text below in the Run script field:

• Click Run.
• Wait until the computer restarts.
• On restart, the LOG subfolder is created in the folder where the avz4.com file was saved. The file under the unique name lk_syscure.zip is saved into the LOG folder. It contains the detailed log of the full scan. Attach the log file to your request.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 features the Advanced Disinfection technology. This feature is applied for extensive disinfection against malicious programs that are running on the computer and use various methods to prevent antivirus software from removing them, including switching between two different processes.

When an active malicious code is detected, the technology uses the following procedure:

• Block the start of any new processes in the system.
• Block any actions involving registry keys responsible for Auto Start; block the creation of new files in Auto Start folders.
• Block the creation of new executable files.
• Start the scan of auto start objects and remove the malicious code.
• Restart the computer. On restart, it is recommended to perform a full scan task.
• Start the system without the malicious code.

To enable the Advanced Disinfection technology, do the following:

1. Open Kaspersky Internet Security 2015.
2. In the lower left corner of the main application window, click Settings.

3. In the Settings window, go to the Additional section and select Threats and exclusions.

4. Select the check box Enable Advanced Disinfection technology.

5. Close the main application window.
