G Suite for Education accounts provide 10,000 user licenses. You don’t have to remove inactive users.
Each user has unlimited storage for Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. If there are 4 or fewer users in your organization, each user gets 1 TB of storage.
Gmail, Google Calendar, Hangouts, Drive, and Sites are guaranteed to be available at least 99.9% of the time. For more information, see the G Suite Service Level Agreement.

How do I sign up?To sign up for G Suite for Education, visit the sign-up page. You can sign up yourself or contact the Sales team for more information.
On average, it takes 6 weeks to set up G Suite for your organization.
Yes, G Suite offers SAML single sign-on (SSO) to integrate with your authentication system. G Suite also offers a code library for reference. For details, see Set up SSO using 3rd party IdPs.

Security
How secure is G Suite? What scanning or indexing of user data occurs with G Suite for Education?G Suite for Education does not collect student data for advertising purposes.
We scan Gmail to keep users’ mail secure. Scanning includes virus and spam protection and is 100% automated. We scan all incoming email, relevant search results, and features, such as Gmail Priority Inbox. For more information, see Google Safety Center.
In all educational domains, advertisements are turned off for G Suite for Education services. And, users don't see ads in Google Search when signed in with their G Suite for Education accounts.
Schools can filter, monitor, and archive mail using Gmail advanced settings. See Tailor Gmail settings for your organization.

Yes. We contractually require that schools using G Suite for Education get the parental consent required by COPPA. Our services can be used in compliance with COPPA as long as a school has parental consent. For more details, see COPPA.
