Spending time out in Nature for me is one of the joys of life. And in June of this year, I got to go to the fabulous RHS Chatsworth Flower Show. During Summer I spend more time out in nature tending our allotments and our home garden.. This last couple of weeks as you saw in my last post here on Dreamwalkers Sanctuary I have been busy watching Wimbledon, and what a fortnight it has been with some amazing tennis played and some remarkable wins.

So along with some Photo’s I took of the flower exhibits at Chatsworth here is a poem I wrote some years ago now that you may find elsewhere on my blog , as I looked and as coincidence will have it I re-posted it around this time last year.

Enjoy the flowers.. I hope too you find time to go out into Nature and enjoy all she has to offer, as you find your own corner of Peace and Tranquillity. Sending you All Love and Light as I gradually work my way to repaying your lovely visits.. xxx

Tranquil Garden

Sitting in the garden, as Blackbird sings her tune,

Summer is here, as we welcome the month of June

Foxgloves are in flower, as the Bumblebee explores

And new growth is around us, this time I just adore.

The fountain in the garden is tranquil, hear it flow

As peacefulness surrounds me, As I drift in Sun’s warm glow

The wind chimes they do tinkle, and the breeze just gently blows

And the pigeon in the tree top her cooing never slows

A neighbours cat is cooling, laid out beneath the shade

Oh how I love these tranquil, peaceful lazy days.

The grass appears much greener, or is it just my eyes,

For when we are contented, nature gives us our best prize.

We just have to take a moment in quiet thoughtful pose

To enjoy the bliss around us and be thankful I suppose.

Do we ever take a moment to give our heartfelt thanks?

For somewhere people are fighting and living with enemy Tanks.

So Bless those quiet moments of peace within your home for you never know when it could be shattered, and darkness soon enclose

So enjoy the moments of each bright new sunny day

As we say goodbye to rain-clouds in this last day of May,

Hello beautiful people, it has been a while since I did an update on my blog.. Summer is speeding by and I am making the most of these wonderful Sunny Days here in the UK.. Life is for living, and enjoying and that is exactly what I have been doing.. Spending time with family, and enjoying several birthday celebrations, and of course the allotments have been getting lots of attention with picking berries, and preparing produce for the freezer..

I also started a knitting project too, which has stopped my hands from pounding the keyboard of an evening. A project in progress that has the back and one front completed..

Tennis too has been on the agenda, and no, I am not that sprightly, lol, but may invest in a swing ball for the lawn, as I know one little lady who will enjoy the game with me.. But Wimbledon is on for another week, and you will find me most afternoons watching Tennis this next week, as I root for my favourite Tennis Stars. So I have been up extra early and down the gardens before it warms up and gets too hot to work.

So as I share lots of photo’s over on my gardening blog on the progress on the allotments.. For a change, I will share a little of the allotments here with you.

Morning Breaks into Song.

Morning breaks and all is still and pure

The warm breeze is fresh with calm expectation

As a new day dawns.

Then on wind comes first one, then many voices

Each greeting a new day, knowing not what it will bring. ,

I listen to their song, each trill, each chirp rings out in greeting

Their symphony rises as each sing to be heard, as messages

Are passed among the tree tops.

I pick out the blackbird, the Robin, and the Sparrow

Sadly, it’s a while since I heard the sweet Song Thrush

And I ponder upon a Birds Life.

To wake with such joy, no thought of worry

Living in the Now of every moment

Accepting opportunities as they busy themselves in finding food

Catching insects, worms and making the most of human kindness

As they feed from the bird tables and drink from the bird baths.

And So a poem is born…

First Light, the early bird catches the worm

The Blackbird

Morning breaks and all is still

Until the Blackbird makes his trill

To call upon all who will listen

As morning dew in sunlight glistens

First one, then two, then a multitude

Their joy in song they do exude

Imparting greetings of a brand-new day

I often wonder what messages they convey.

As Sparrow chirps and Robin sings

Each not knowing what the day will bring

Yet each in tree on branch sings out

No worry in mind or do they doubt

That upon the wing enough food they’ll find

No regrets of fear of future in mind

Living each moment as it arrives

Knowing enough food Nature will provide

And yet if we look, we too will see sorrow

As some on wing will not see tomorrow

For Nature creates her balancing act

And that comes from Hawk and next doors cat.

I ponder then upon sorrow felt, as laments on wing are sung

Lone parents, working twice as hard to rear their young

Yet come the morn, I hear their voice

As a New Dawn rises, they sing and rejoice

Would that we Humans could sing our Songs

To know each day, we were so strong

That we could Trust and live in our Now

Thank you Blackbird

You teach me how..

Creativity in Art and ~ The WOMAN

On one rainy afternoon I wanted to paint, yet as reached up into the top of my cupboard for a new canvas, out popped among them was this old painting I did when I was messing about one day quite a few years ago now.

I had never really liked the painting, and have never hung it, but I had hidden it away among my new canvas’ thinking one day I would paint over it.

I looked hard at it and thought well today is the day to rework it.. And as I painted I jotted down my thoughts as different feelings raced through my mind as I altered it to become the finished new painting you see below at the bottom of this post..

Here are the words that came to me while painting and when I had finished it.. They speak of the returning feminine energies, and how each of us hold these energies whether we are female or male… So I give you..

The Woman

The Woman with closed eyes sits in the circle of dancing light

She breathes in her femininity as she let go of all material form

Naked, she pulls around her energy cloak of rainbows as she prepares her Earth Song

She holds out her hands softly at her sides.

As she rocks gently back and forth, listening to her beating heart.

It matches its rhythm with that of her Earth Mother.

Generations before her have awaited

this time, when the feminine will rise again.

Their Compassion, love and strength will bring back the light from the shadows of the past

The Woman focuses her inner vision upon the Stars, and her low hum begins to fill the vortex of space surrounding her Aura.

With Dancing spectrum’s that spin in a Kaleidoscope of changing hues. Mixing and blending, the Woman weaves each thread with the notes of Love.

Each Chord a blend of forgiveness to each deed against the feminine energies. Her face is still, almost translucent as she let go of Anger, bitterness and sorrow.

The woman is no longer tied to the Earth but becomes detached from All Fear

Replenishing her emotions only with Love , Acceptance and Gratitude

The Vortex spins ever faster as time slips away, She gives thanks for all she has been and to all she is yet to become.

Knowing infinity will hold her forever in the moment of Now..

This post is written by Claire, Irene’s daughter. Mom has been at the hospital since Thursday the 8th of June and is still there.

After many days of sleeping she finally woke up. She is still in the intensive care unit and will need some time to recover. We are not sure if it will take weeks before she will be home again.

Mom is a private person and to her it was a big deal even revealing that she doesn’t feel well. So for her sake I will allow her to decide which details to share and which details she wishes to keep to herself. But I would like to assure you that the issues she is having are physical and not mental.

To Mom, her blog and fellow bloggers mean the world. She tells us about her friends, about common interests and about why she likes…

Beauty is Within us All.

During the night I awoke, and wrote so many thoughts down as I tried to sift through the debris cluttering up my mind as I had woken up yesterday to the radio in the morning of the terrible news of the London Flats Tower Block Inferno..

Sometimes we only see the harsh exterior of the world, through the lens of those whose camera’s try to tell us this is our reality. As it seems the media flit from one tragedy to another around our world. And yet amidst all of this tragedy I am witnessing so much LOVE..

For most of the day, I sort out solitude in quiet contemplation and prayer to send out my love to all who were experiencing grief, and loss of their loved ones friends and neighbours. I also kept sending to our WordPress Friend Irene.. Even my husband said I looked liked a lost soul, as I seemed to feel so many hearts bursting with tears..

In the evening we had company, and as we discussed the terrible events. But what was emerging was that how brilliant it was to see the London community come together.. It mattered not what race, religion, or if they were Poor or Well off.. Each story that I had seen unfold told of many hearts giving to others that in that moment were in need of love and healing..

Looking through the tiny holes in the granite to the garden held inside the cube.

Some gave money, others gave clothes and food. Lots who didn’t know what else to give, just handed out huge HUGS.. To comfort those still awaiting news of relatives and friends..

The images I have chosen to accompany this post I took on my visit to spend the day at the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show not far from my old village where I grew up at the end of last week . If you click the Chatsworth link you can see the many gardens that won medals etc.. It was such a beautiful Day. One that will last long within my memory ..

Foxglove inside the cube

The Foxglove happens to be among one of my favourite flowers, And I have several shades of them in my front garden. I do not have them in my back garden where my granddaughter plays, as they are poisonous.. Strange as I write of the heart, that these flowers in particular hold chemicals that affect the heart, Digitalis is poisonous; it can be fatal even in small doses.

We are all us being fed toxins that affect our hearts one way or another, as we allow ourselves to be led into division whether that be through politics, religion, or race..

So I choose the share some of the memories of my Beautiful Day, as I thought these pictures apt, Showing us that no matter how dark our world may seem or how stark it appears on the outside, no matter what chaos we face. When we join together in Unity and we really Look within, and when it matters the most and others are in crisis, the beauty within comes spilling out… For We all hold this Beauty of Love deep within ourselves.. This has been echoed so beautifully in the wonderful prayers and responses to Amy in my re-blog of her appeal for healing to send to Irene..

Many thanks to all of you who have held Irene in your prayers. Amy says she is slowly responding, but far from well as she is still in an induced sleep..

Isn’t it just a shame it takes great tragedies to bring that kindness and love out of ourselves.. This brought home again, just how Love unites us All..

My love and heartfelt prayers are being sent to all in West London who have suffered so much loss..

A Friend In Trouble

I have been alerted today via Amy https://herladypinkrose.wordpress.com about the illness of a good blogging friend Irene, https://irenedesign2011.com/
who is very ill and in hospital in intensive care..

I would ask all those who know Irene, and those who do not as yet know this lovely lady who makes wonderful jewellery and yet spends a lot of her time visiting other people’s blogs and wishing them well. If they will send out a prayer of healing to Irene..

Her family are very distraught and have asked Amy to help as they do not know her blogging password etc.

Please leave your prayers and thoughtful comments on the original post over at Amy’s so that Claire might see them ..

Sending Irene, my thoughts and prayers as I ask that the healing Angels surround Irene to help bring about her full recovery..

Rainbow Light Dance. Within the Garden of Love

Silence becomes my friend as I sit in the dappled light upon my swinging seat. Rocking back and forth as I lift my feet from the ground, I become lighter than air.

Lulled in the rhythm, like a babe in arms, I’m content. A smile spreads across my lips as my ‘Knowing’ unfolds the deep mysteries of my existence.
