8047 Tasting Notes
So glad the weekend is almost here. I’ve been busy “adulting” this week – trying to get organised financially to start investing and getting my husband settled with retirement savings….i want a break! haha This one’s almost done so i may use my free tea with david’s to pick up 50g of this one….not much else i need, but i do have until march to use it, so there is still lots of time!

Bit the bullet today…finished off the last of this even though my November order is still on a boat somewhere in the middle of the ocean…or at least that’s where i like to pretend it is. Thoroughly enjoyed this, but i’ll be happier when it’s back in my cupboard. :)
Pulled this tea out for a change because i am having an incredibly frustrating work day. I strongly dislike people giving attitude back when someone is just asking questions to help understand the ask and make sure they’re providing the right recommendation. Especially from a team member that i go out of my way to help often. So i needed to take a step back, find my happy place and calm down a little….so i picked this tea. Still delicious but i think i need to stick to my usual white steeping parameters versus MF’s weird parameters lol Glad i have more to play with though, i might let my parents have more of this since it’s expensive and they adore it.
Morning tea! Love seeing the snow outside, just wish it wasn’t turning to rain…fuck ontario weather sometimes. I’m still not used to RAIN in winter. I often miss Alberta in winter…it was friggin cold..but there was no rain/ice to deal with 90% of the time. This is pretty tasty today – smooth and malty and just what the dr ordered.
I’ll trade you the AB weather today haha…lots of snow, extremely icy roads, -22 surface temp this morning plus windchill of around -30…tradesies? :D haha I don’t even want to go out to get lunch.
MissLena – i’d rather that to be honest. I grew up with that, used to it. I can’t stand DAMP winters with rain and ice and not really snow..
@Sil – yeah the humidity would be quite an adjustment, and that damp cold almost feels colder than a dry cold most of the time. Haha I’d trade for a day still though :D since it’s already icy here, and now 40km/hr wind gusts…
Ouf, love Edmonton summers though. Zero humidity when we here were dying. So refreshing after humid hell here.
noms. I really need to go get some more fruit teas for my cupboard. Almost done with this one, and then i’ll have none :( while not my favourite, this is a decent enough standby for when i want fruit teas.
Still drinking tea, just a little busy these days. REALLY wish my orders from November would get here :(
My 11/11 orders atarted to arrive last week. If that gives you any hope. Surprisingly the worst were the end of October ones. They took almost 2 months. Hope it arrives soon for you!
Well maybe things will get here before the end of Jan then. This is the longest i’ve ever had to wait on anything from teavivre and YS.

Be glad that they were sent out before Chinese New Year’s descended on China. Ah, the bright side has been located. :)
Only one cup of tea today – had a very lazy day of sleeping for most of it – trying to kill this cold that i’ve got before it gets worse. Still loving this one…just one of those good cup of teas when you need it.
Latte tonight before dinner after a hike in the woods. I sprained my foot Jan 2, so i’ve been trying to get it back to 100% without too much stress. I refuse to let it keep me from getting back in to exercising and taking care of myself. I know it’s only 6 days in to the new year but so far so good – still maintaining my goals even with the minor dog trying to kill me resulting in a sprained foot lol. I think latte style of this one is my favourite. Helps cut the sugar in the tea, of which i wish there was less.
