“If you have the feeling that something is wrong, don’t be afraid to speak up.”
I was so happy to do this doodle. Fred Korematsu, who was forcibly relocated to a Japanese internment camp during WWII, would have been 98 today. Today especially, he’s a reminder that everyone – regardless of ethnic background or religion – deserves the same civil rights.
iPad painting in the back of our RV! <3 the American Southwest
This year’s Christmas card from San Francisco! Happy holidays, everyone
Doodle for flamenco guitar legend Paco de Lucia - nice to stretch my atrophying animation muscles again!
A quick Christmas card commission for a lovely couple and their new baby : )
Happy birthday Louisa May Alcott! Little Women was one of those books that stuck with me as a kid. Thanks for giving us the March family (and Laurie).
Happy birthday to James Welch, Native American writer - thanks for bringing the Blackfeet experience to everyone.
Just got back from a trip, so here’s a round-up of some Instagram posts! Sketches from Iceland, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam. So much to see! <3
I really enjoyed doing this doodle for Jean Batten (1909-1982), a record-breaking New Zealand aviator - known as the “Greta Garbo of the skies.” She had a black cat named Buddy who accompanied her sometimes on her flights.
Today’s doodle for the 37th anniversary of The Neverending Story book publishing (phew!) was super fun to work on! I had a great time reading the book. For some reason, I never saw the movie as a kid, so I decided to avoid seeing anything from the movie until after I finished the Doodle. Watching the movie tonight for the first time : )
