Ruth Ann Minner (also known as Ruth Ann Coverdale; born 17 January 1935) is an American businesswoman and politician. She was the first female governor in Delaware (2001 to 2009). She is a member of the United States Democratic Party. She began her political career during the 1970s. She was born Ruth Coverdale in Milford, Delaware.
