Some Frequently Asked Questions about Membership
Can I try Simple:Press before signing up for membership?
Absolutely. Simple:Press itself is free to download and use. You can also take a look at our support forum where many – but by no means all – of our additional plugins are active. Note that there is a non-members section for those pre-membership questions but not – we are afraid – for general support.
What does membership give me?
For a start – full access to our support forums where we can give advice, tips, help with minor customisations and answer your questions as well as access to membership only areas of our ever-expanding Codex. Each membership plan also offers some free selectable goodies and great, escalating discounts on additional plugins and themes. Visit our membership options page for full details.
Is membership automatically renewed when it expires?
Absolutely not. But you will be offered the opportunity to renew of course. It is entirely up to you. But we may well offer a small discount to try and tempt you back!
When my membership expires do I still get updates to Simple:Press and Simple:Press plugins?
Yes you do. After you first install it Simple:Press will be freely available for updating via the standard WordPress update system. Any Simple:Press plugins and themes you have installed will also be freely offered via the WordPress updater. Updates will continue to be offered when available.
Is there any other way to get free access to the plugins?
Sorry but no. Creating and supporting the Simple:Press core, our plugins and themes takes a constant and huge amount of time and effort and our current business model is the only way we can fund that development and support we believe our users deserve.
Do you have Privacy, Usage and Terms and Conditions Policies I can review?
