SecuPress is a WordPress plugin conceived in 2012 by Julio Potier and developed for 2 years with Gregory Viguier, within the WP Media team.
Julio Potier is a website security specialist since 2002 and, more specifically, has been working on WordPress for over 7 years.
Very active in the French WordPress community, he contributes through his lectures and audits to assist developers in securing their code.
Grégory Viguier has been a developer for over 5 years, he’s passionate about code performance and standardization in order to ensure plugin’s quality and longevity.
Today, with three plugins available, WP Media has more than 50,000 users worldwide, has been able to reduce the loading time for 140,000 sites and optimize 48 million images
In 2017, it employs 15 people around the world and follows the ambition of making the web faster, easier, accessible and secure.
The team members are sponsors and speakers at many WordCamps and regularly attend the Open Source ecosystem by contributing to the WordPress core and to other plugins such as WPML, Wordfence or WooCommerce.
