Spend the day learning how to create scrap-books and journals out of your old fabrics, scrap paper/card and haberdashery. This is a great way to experiment with techniques such a stitch, collage and surface decoration to make something that is personal to you.

Once your range of sheets are complete you start the exciting process of putting your papers and fabrics together and learn how to assemble them into the form of a book.

You can make any size of scrap-book you wish and create it for a special purpose either to keep all those important bits and bobs you can never find a place for, perhaps a sketch book, or maybe a photograph album the choice is yours….! No experience necessary just bring enthusiasm.

Explore the vast possibilities of working with wire and create your own 3D sculptures, inspired by any theme you wish. You will explore how to manipulate lightweight wire using your hands and pliers to make a range of examples. You will focus on developing your structures with other techniques and processes including fabric, paper, wax, and paint. No experience necessary; all you need to bring is enthusiasm!

Master Class in Paper, Wire & Stitch

Explore and experiment with the endless possibilities of paper, wire and stitch! On day one you will, paint, wax and colour a range of different papers creating a variety of grounds to play with on day two.

On day two you will develop your prepared papers using, wire, stitch and heat techniques to create three-dimensional shapes. The aim of this workshop is to play with the possibilities and make stunning surfaces that develop organically into three-dimensional forms. This workshop is for anyone who wants to push the boundaries and beyond.
