Can you tell me in a greenhouse operation how much food and fish you can grow in 1000 sq. ft. of Greenhouse space per year???

    1. portfarms

      Robert,

      From our website: A 24′ x 46′ (7.3m x 14m) unit produces 8,600 vegetables and 1,156 pounds (524 kg) of fish. That size is a tad over 1,000sq ft.

    Aloha,

My name is Nate and I wanted to build a commercial system in Las Vegas. My question to you is, I wanted to use a warehouse and wanted to know about the heat here in Vegas. Do you have a system that is suitable for a warehouse and the heat and aprox. how much will the cost be.

    Mahalo,

    Nate

      Nate,

A climatically adapted structure that can maintain the interior temperature at the Grow Table height between 45 and 100 degrees F is the requirement. We lived in Las Vegas for two years and have several successful students there so a structure can be adapted to work very well in that climate. The cost is up to you to figure out. You have not given any specs to work with. Buy the Commercial Aquaponics GOLD ebook and it will answer most of your questions on commercial aquaponics.

      Philippos,

The requested information was sent in an email covering the 5 Phases of Commercial Aquaponics and we trust that information will be helpful in bringing your project to fruition. The price list is here.

Please read our huge website for additional information. Commercial aquaponics is a capital intensive project in the beginning so you will need approximately US$300,000 per 1,000 m2 for your first installation. If you or your investors have that to invest, we can have a conversation, if not, please raise that first.

Good luck in all of your endeavors.
