Early summer morning over Wartberg
The people here have always been quite christian. This shot was taken on the local Calvary hill, of course with Stations of the Cross & a chapel on top of it, that's how it's done properly. Local experts created a 60 page directory of small christian monuments (crosses, chapels atl) all in this municipality.

A hot summer, a tree and some landscape
Some hiking trails are rich from the photographer's POV. When there are lots of buildings, geography, leading lines, strange things or wild animals like chicken. Other trails are also nice, but hopelessly stuffed with boring views. On these days you learn to be thankful for a simple tree to clinch to.

Each #summer #campers and staff from the Taylor Statten Camps have set out from Algonquin Park to explore even more remote locations in Ontario’s northern wilderness. Over #50days, campers paddle and portage their way back to camp to Camp Wapomeo and Camp Ahmek, pushing themselves mentally and physically.
