#stervosharing #strengths - best day!! It's another awesome weekend... and time passes so quickly as we are going through our middle of Q3..... :) it's another four months plus to Christmas :)
How have 2016 been treating you then? Reflect on it quietly and you will notice the blessings and struggles you had or are still going through.
I had my fair share in the pain and pleasure of life. And I had learned to appreciate and accept both Pain & Pleasure amicably. Able to find the middle path in these two enables me to find my balance in life continously. ....
Even till today, I am thankful for everything that is happening to me. I realized through my last few years that this attitude of being thankful is the critical element that we should learn to appreciate and be aware of...
Only when we are aware of how thankful we are in life, our perspective & mindset will shift from being negative to positive. This subtle shift in mindset gives us another critical element - Strength.
Strength is never 100% around, it is only present when we needed it.... and it will always be there for us. So, to be Strong, we must be aware and know the 'secret' to call upon our inner strength. It's that simple and powerful, yet how many of us uses it?
The last 'secret' to be strong is learning to ask our good friends selectively. ie, never ask 'WHY' when we do our soul searching and reflection. It gives a very critical tone to it..... use the other two good friends of ours , ie - How as in "how come like this?" & What as in "What causes it to happen like this?" Having asked thriugh our good friends, we must learn to give thanks for the understanding and learning the "cause of it" ... why thankful? Simple - (and keep this in mind) - what ever happens doesn't KILL YOU , it will make you Stronger.
This is the ultimate irony in life - we only learn to be Stronger and Grow through PAIN. Pleasure doesn't give us this opportunity. In fact, too much pleasure stagnant our growth and blur our purpose.
In short, we must be Thankful for the pleasure we enjoy as we learn to appreciate it while never over indulging in it. Even over-indulgence comes, we must be Strong to reject it's advances. While, on the other hand, we must be thankful for the pain which we need to walk through, it teaches us about Who we are. Show us what we are capable of. It give us strength to move on.... hence, we must be thankful for this kind of situation we are walking through..:)
