World Water Day celebration at the beach behind my house with a lovely gang of people. We all brought bottles with water and did a meditation for the water which I will share in an upcoming post. Afterwards we drank the water from our bottles..... WOW! What an uplifting experience for everybody. At the end of the session everyone received a smile orgonite. #worldwaterday #meditation #orgonite

United Nations
#YearInReview:
On #WorldWaterDay in March, the Dutch Government, along with artist Daan @roosegaarde brought the Waterlicht light installation to #UnitedNations Headquarters in #NYC.
The mesmerizing light display immersed viewers in a virtual flood, showing how water levels could rise if urgent #ClimateAction is not taken.
The Water Action Decade was also launched in March, with the goal of accelerating efforts towards meeting water-related challenges, such as the limited access to safe water and sanitation that billions of people face worldwide. ➡️ Scroll through for more pictures of the captivating light show. 📷: UN Photo / Evan Schneider & Dan Shepard

Happy World Water Day, Everyone! It's so important to understand where our resources come from, and what it takes to maintain and sustain them. This is even moreso true with #water. Why??? Well, when you consider that we cannot survive without it-- and that major pollution and shortages around the globe threaten our access to clean water sources you cannot help but be moved to do something about it! That's why we here at Pipe Spy work every day bringing sewer compliance to our East Bay communities, protecting groundwater and the larger ecosystems of the Bay one home at a time! Today's #WorldWaterDay
According to the latest United Nations World Water Development Report, 3.6 billion people around the world, which is about half of the world’s population, live in potentially water-scarce areas during at least one month a year. This figure could rise to more than 5 billion in 2050.
Over the same period, the global demand for water, currently estimated at around 4,600 km3 per year could reach 5,500km3 or 6,000 km3 per year. At 4,600 km3 per year, current global usage of freshwater is already close to the maximum threshold of sustainability and this fragile balance in fact masks the major local and regional disparities.
