#SteveJobs was a genius in many ways. But he was an utter failure in one area: picking top executive talent.

Remember John “Pepsi Cola” Scully? The guy Jobs picked to run Apple in the 80s? Yeah well Scully drove Apple right into the ground and when Jobs returned to save the company, it was literally tottering on bankruptcy.

Now we have another Jobs’ pick who is failing terribly: Tim “Can’t-keep-my-mouth-shut-about-my-screwball-liberal-politics-and-I’m-doing-a-shitty-job-running-Apple” Cook.

Tim Cook, a failed IBM warehouse manager, who learned how to kiss lots of ass to cover up his incompetence, is following in the footsteps of John Scully and putting Apple right into the toilet.

All Cook knows how to do is con people. It’s how he got to where he is today. He’s a very sneaky little bastard. So Apple’s values of innovation and attention to detail? Yeah forget about that. Former warehouse manager Cook is WAY over his head. So he’s doing the only thing he ever learned as a failed warehouse manager: cook the books & maximize profit.

Can ANYONE imagine Steve Jobs releasing the iPhoneX with that notch? Forget about it. Never would have happened. But Cook doesn’t care about the details. Jobs created a cult of reliable followers, they’ll buy anything until they ultimately wake up and realize their folly. Cook knows he can rely on that. Next Cook is burying BILLIONS in offshore accounts to shield revenues from US taxes (remember this is “Mr. I’m a Big Liberal”) to maximize Apple’s balance sheet and stay in good graces with Apple’s Board and the shareholders.

Except what Cook is building, like Scully before him, is a house of cards that ultimately will fall. And when it falls, so will ultimately Apple into irrelevancy.

Apple is being destroyed from the inside out.

But WTF. Cook gets to prance around with a big title and a breathtakingly large paycheque while endlessly shooting his big mouth off about his goofy political opinions. Oh, and jet setting to all those gay pride parades to hit on young guys using his Apple persona to impress doubtlessly has its advantages (wink, wink) for old Timmy boy too.

So ultimately this will all come crashing down. Cook will have bankrolled so much cash, he’ll be fine and will just announce he’s retiring as Apple burns in flames.

It’s sad. Apple could still save itself. But Cook has to be fired N O W. That won’t happen. So Apple’s doom is certain.
