A Google Plus Creature
Google Plus shutting down in April 2019
I've been wondering how to recap my seven years on Google plus, so here I am:
No recap
No regrets
No mentions
My short story.
In 1990 I was standing in a long queue holding a coupon to be able to get milk for my one-year-old daughter. The shop was completely empty and dark as 100% of the shops at that time in my country. 100 people were waiting together with me at 4 am in the morning. Beside me on the same queue was the father of another one-year-old.
In 2018 I crossed the ocean and was a guest in the US house of this family, I once got to know on the queue at 4 am in the morning. The one-year-old is teaching medieval history in the University now. Her soul mate ( my daughter) is finishing her masters in University.
What's this story has to do with Google Plus?
Nothing. It's like the life-affirming stories of many other awesome people who made the Global Google Plus Community and became part of a mind-transforming online culture.
Everything. It can't become a shared experience any longer by anybody else never ever, at least not in the Google Plus way we know.
Google Plus was not measured by books written, exhibitions and events organized not even by the number of followers ( even some of us were deluded how those mattered).
Google Plus is the live experience online, the unique web navigation mastery of discovery and reinventing what we care about and ourselves in the first place.
"And life still goes on!"
Find me across networks by the same name. It's who I am continuing to be - a Google Plus Creature. I'm GSuite +Nina Trankova

Use everything for your advancement growth and learning!
Take care of yourself so you can take care of others! Be not a burden!
Don't hurt yourself and don't hurt others! People hurt themselves by judging others! That's how they are into negativity
Well-wishing makes a huge difference!
Peter Felsmann is an Insight Seminars facilitator who is doing Insight I Seminar right now in a very challenging period of his life. I'm posting in support of Insight Seminars and in synchronicity with Google+ sunsetting.
Listen to Peter's life story:
https://youtu.be/FeWvBDuzdH0
I took Insight back in 2009. I did the series from Insight I Awakening heart, Insight II Living from your heart and Insight III Knowing the purpose of your heart. I haven't been able to take my Insight IV yet.
I dare say that my Insight IV I started on Google plus in 2011. Experiential learning isn't framed into any of the formats and contexts we know.
It's creating our own life from our hearts
That's how we've been recreating our life each of us and all of us on Google+ global platform, including Google+ teams along the 7 years of our activity and creations on board. We shall continue recreating the cyber-physical spaces we are moving further on.

Top #CreateConnections Tips - featuring +Nina Trankova
Conversation and Connections.
Create member +Nina Trankova shared her advice on sparking conversation and connections by asking questions. See Nina’s top tips below.
Do a little research before asking
Before asking someone your first question, get to know them a little bit by reading the "About me" section on their profile. Take note of any shared interests from what they post and comment.
Make it all about them
Focus on what the other person cares about. As an example, start with a polite question about their opinion on a specific post, ideally about a topic they’re interested in. Use the comments section of the post. People generally respond positively when asked about their opinion. To spark ideas, think of questions about “who, what, when, where, why,” or ”how.”
Use polls for large groups
If you’re asking a large group a question, try using the poll feature. Yes/No polls are inclusive and beneficial for sparking questions and connections. I like using polls that have ongoing relevance and remain active for a long time. Simple yes/no polls are also easier for people to follow and can overcome language barriers. Here’s an example: https://plus.google.com/+NinaTrankova/posts/fwsgbgCu5jC
Ask question in your posts
You can also use a question in the title of a post to spark interest - for instance, ask peoples’ opinions about travel, food, or other universally appealing topics. If you’re talking to an audience with a specific interest, ask them a question on that topic. Here’s an example I’ve used: "Have you danced on the ice at Lago di Braies in winter?"
You can also add an engaging .GIF or other image to go along with your question. For example, you could ask “did you have fun?” paired with this .GIF: https://plus.google.com/photos/photo/115238438924596047165/6569976204197033682
Ask from the heart
Be respectful, polite, professional, neutral, and genuine. These best practices help to drive a good conversation, attract more attention and more contacts.
Respect the silence
Users may choose to remain silent for many different reasons, but that doesn't automatically make them unwanted contacts. We can do the best when we don't judge silence. The reason for silence could simply be that the person does not wish to disclose private information.
Bonus Tips
1. Plan your questions
2. Know your purpose
3. Open conversation
4. Speak your listener's language
5. Use neutral wording
6. Follow general questions with specific ones
7. Focus your questions so they ask one thing at a time
8. Ask only essential questions
A big thank you to Nina and all those who participated and followed along with the conversation. +Azlin Bloor, +Monika Schmidt, +Florian Castlunger, +Monika Fuchs, +Vaishno Chaitanya, +Brigitte Uras, +Rune Holthen, +Sabine Mey-Gordeyns, +nomad dimitri and +Teodora Petkova.

Asking Questions on Google+
What do you know about connectivity on G+ platform? How do you learn to ask questions in an interactive way and getting to know new people? Is it working like in the physical world?
Questions are used from the most elementary stage of learning to original research.
“He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; he who does not ask a question remains a fool forever” – Chinese proverb

5 Tips For Welcome Introduction Post Pinned in Google Plus Collections

5 Tips For Welcome Introduction Post Pinned in G+Collections
we often miss on introductions, therefore we miss on the key to growth
Introductions in Google Plus Collections are more or less the preface of a book yet to adapt to your online activities there is one specific requirement. Even if you follow all related marketing tips, it’s an individual resonating message to connect you with your audience. On the Internet, you only have 8 seconds from the attention of the person visiting your theme.
Here are 5 tips for a welcome introduction post to pin in your Google Plus Collection:
Introduction Online Point One: Poll
Curators of content grab your attention with a thesis right from the title on hot topics such as "What Comes First with Google+?". Their introduction might even start with a poll. The benefit of this instant connectivity is grounded in the expertise of the creator and the users.
https://plus.google.com/u/0/+NinaTrankova/posts/UFyuMRJtfyX
Introduction Online Point Two: Description
More descriptive introductions are used for evergreen content such as travel and food articles, recipes and communities. It is an informative style to tell about yourself and about the work you are presenting. The formula: why, who, where, when, how is a handy tool to keep up with.
https://plus.google.com/+NinaTrankova/posts/ezbFoVbBYFy
Introduction Online Point Three: Project
A summary, bullets, links, and references make a good plan to shout out your project. Keep it brief by being more instructional. Insert all links for a call to action you might choose to direct users to your site.
https://plus.google.com/u/0/+NinaTrankova/posts/d7BkRq9MLAY
Introduction Online Point Four: Interviews
The benefits of introduction by interviews are the variety of content and the entertainment through different visions and standpoints.
https://plus.google.com/u/0/+NinaTrankova/posts/JYNheeFuKw7
Introduction Online Point Five: Unifying Value
The same approach one can apply for curating a specific theme and presenting on ongoing basis collaborator’s work under a unified category. It’s not necessary to write reviews and critique when you find a shared value that is explanatory by itself.
https://plus.google.com/+NinaTrankova/posts/XDojkCTHy6i
These 5 tips are not exhausting all nuances of creating an appealing introduction. I keep on exploring: http://ninatrankova.com/category/google-plus-collections.

3 Hints For Online Initiatives on Google Plus
Synchronise Vision
The visual tools on Google personal and brand profile work perfectly!
•Add an appealing Cover Image
•Choose a matching color for the initiative's logo, cover image and color of the Collections
•Play with the Logo
Amplify Messages in Context
To translate the visual messages from my experience with Earth Day Initiative, I've added a cover with spring feel that demonstrates the variety of activity and dynamics across social media channels for Earth Day.
I change Collection's colors to green to match Earth day's logo.
I added the logo to the cover images of the Collections.
Earth Day is a favorable topic because it easily relates to Google, who are supporting Earth day through initiative Create members on Google plus. This is what the cover of Google Plus Synergize says.
Engaging Action
On Google Plus you can create a post to evidence the collaboration:
https://plus.google.com/+NinaTrankova/posts/c7CocUKcpnc
Besides commenting and re-sharing other's work, relating to more aspects of the initiative is not to be ignored. There's always an authority article to grab the attention of the corresponding theme. For example, European's parliament post was a nice reminder of energy saving aspect to entrepreneurs plus users can discover and follow the official Europen Parliament page on Google+ if they wish to.
https://plus.google.com/+NinaTrankova/posts/gHKTePDEzEF
I'm sharing lessons learned from +Google+ initiative I was privileged to co-organise with the support of Create Program
What did you learn from initiatives you organized either participated in?
How do you implement Google+ advantages?

I added the logo to the cover images of the Collections.
Earth Day is a favorable topic because it easily relates to Google, who are supporting Earth day through initiative Create members on Google plus. This is what the cover of Google Plus Synergize says.
Engaging Action
On Google Plus you can create a post to evidence the collaboration:

Besides commenting and re-sharing other's work, relating to more aspects of the initiative is not to be ignored. There's always an authority article to grab the attention of the corresponding theme. For example, European's parliament post was a nice reminder of energy saving aspect to entrepreneurs plus users can discover and follow the official Europen Parliament page on Google+ if they wish to.
