Lake Tahoe Area - Nevada, USA

Last weekend, hubby & I celebrated 21 years of marriage. To make it memorable, we headed out to the Lake Tahoe area and spent some time appreciating the fall colors and the beautiful weather. The California & Nevada regions were equally appealing and offered us many photo ops and reasons to appreciate nature at its best ... and of course, each other. Oh, and we brought along our furry bestie, Sophie ... it was her first time up in the mountains, and she hiked the hills like a pro!

Now this was one awesome spot to explore with hubby. The falls were lovely ... the huge rock formations alongside the dam, were simply amazing. Couldn't keep my eyes off of that dramatic texture!
