Debashish “Dev” Samaddar: +Donna St. Pierre yeah scanning is a big pain. I sold my scanner and now I send my film off to a lab if I have to get it scanned. Otherwise I have a makeshift darkroom in a closet and I use that for B&W work. But, given that I like to shoot color I might just bite the bullet and buy a scanner again. I think scanning is the bottleneck for me.

+Donna St. Pierre glad to hear you got your film cameras going. What cameras are they? As you probably already know, or have heard from Leo, there are several stores you can get film from. Some of the larger stores are freestylephoto.biz in the LA area. B&H Photo and Adorama in NYC. You can get many different kinds of B&W, color print and slide emulsions. If you have any questions let me know, I'll try to answer the best I can.
+Richard Pickup is also a great resource.

Actually my film cameras are both Nikon and I will get my film from Hunt's Photo & Video in Providence, RI ( Pretty close to where I live, I've been doing business with them for years...) I started out a painter & got into b&w film many years ago, however digital was so time consuming, I had left it behind.
I've done a lot of emulsion lifts, applied them to canvas, & incorporated them into paintings...
Thank you for offering to answer any questions I may have, as there is always something to be learn.
Ps. Sure felt good to get those old cams out. :-) Thanks again for all the good vibes & inspiration. Very appreciated :)

Donna St. Pierre: Thank you & lol +Steve Kruger. I am in a historic part of Warwick, RI. It's an abandoned stairway on the left, some debris, broken reeds, weeds, & bare trees. There used to be an old house on top of the hill, but it's not there anymore...& I grunged and textured up the image for mood & effect. 😊

And thanks for the effort you have put into searching out this image. I am a bit slow this week as i have been ill with a bit of a chesty cold...but won't let the team down.

Donna, where do you share your images from? I share from Google Photos and sometimes have trouble with tagging ...if I do, I simply share the image to G+' then edit the post to correct the tagging.

I love rustic and vintage photography, and this is making me post more of the many images I have. I have been on G+ almost since it started, and in the early days it was a great interactive community. Its awesome to have that feel again. G+ certainly has helped me discover my creative side,.
Will be away for t\he next 2 weeks, (going to Thailand), so will do another post when I get back..

Yes, Classic G+ is no longer available. I post from Google Photos on my MacBook, and when I share it doesn't always take my tags. I sometimes have to edit it again inside Google+ to get the tags right. Seems to handle Mentions OK..
You seem to have managed in the end..a downside to the new G+ UI is that many actions seem to take more clicks than they used to. I am waiting for the dust to settle after the changeover. I know the Google+ team are working very hard to get everything shipshape.
