Religion is an asylum of ignorance in which you are your own, willing jailer. The Golden Rule is the only "rule" humanity needs. All the superfluous, religious and secular dogma can be dumped. There is no need for manmade religions to believe in or commune with God. The interminable rules of religions are for people without a moral compass!

Fiscally conservative, socially responsible. For: Equality for all regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientations or religious affiliation. Workfare, not welfare; taxpayer supported education, including university; universal healthcare; a living wage; job skills and apprenticeship programs; separation of Church and State — to name a few.
I believe in marriage and monogamy. The right to bear arms, but with proper gun control laws. I believe in democracy, pluralism, freedom of speech, civil liberties, equality for all under the law and just enough government for social stability. I believe that everyone should pay their fair share of taxes, including the wealthy and corporations. I believe that we are our brothers’ keepers and have a social responsibility to those less fortunate. I believe in public education and public/volunteer service.

The Gettysburg Address
