Free and add-free, My Library allows you to store your personal library and to perform a quick search within it.
My Library allows you to :
- Add a book to your library by scanning its barcode (title, author, cover, summary, published date, publisher, ...)
- Add a book to your library via its ISBN number
- Add a book to your library manually
- Look for a book in your library
- Sort your library by titles, names, categories, read / unread, ...
- Export your library within an Excel file
- Import a library from a previously exported library
- Manage your wishlist
For intellectual property reasons, real book covers are not allowed on Google Play screenshots. But in the app, you will of course be free to add official covers for your books.
My Library is currently in v1.5.4, and many features are on the way.
My Library is, and will forever remain free and ad-free.
Please note that My Library uses Google, Amazon, Open Library, Worldcat, IsbnPlus, Moly, data.bn and Biblio services in order to match ISBN numbers and the books you are looking for, therefore if an ISBN number is not found, it is because it is not referenced within those services.

Cannot import file. By default it is creating xls file in our root download folder but when I try to import, it is looking for txt file. I knew it coz the error message says "can't find mylib.txt in the download directory ". It could be a bug n hope the author can rectify them soon. Thanks Author for the prompt reply. I managed to import my lib to my new toy. It is a great app. Well done n keep it up dude!

Awesome app! I've been scribbling the names of books I own on various (now lost) bits of paper for years. It's so great to have all the books I own catalogued in one place. And it lets me know which books I need next in a series without having to go through my bookshelves every time 😊

My book collection was getting out of control and this helped me take stock of what I have. Excellent interface and options for recording pertinent data. I do wish I could have them arranged by more than just author or title (by year would be nice), but that's a small issue. Excellent app! Thanks for putting it together!

I might be missing a few things. Can it be programmed to put series together as they are added to the library ? Does it update what books is needed in the series that you are still needing for the series ? My friend and i love the concept but to be really useful we need it to do these things as well with our ever growing paper home libraries. Thanks

Wonderful! I have managed to share our Bookclubs books by exporting the database file, the image file and the spreadsheet .......sending the members the files as email attachments and writing directions on how they can import the files once they have downloaded your app. Bit clunky but it works! Would be nice to simple 'Share' the library with flexible editing rights though.
Due to the large numbers of books I own as well as buy on a regular basis, this app is amazing. Before getting this app I have inadvertently bought duplicate copies of books numerous times and had to return them as a result. This used to happen on a very high frequency but My Library has helped me organize and keep records for all the books I own. I can't recommend My Library highly enough.

Hello, thanks a lot for your comment! If you check during the import the checkbox indicating that you want to import MyLibraryImages.txt file, of course it will look for it and fail if it does not exist! This is not a bug, just uncheck this checkbox and proceed with the import :) Awesome app! I've been scribbling the names of books I own on various (now lost) bits of paper for years. Like this app because the amount of time ive brought a book and got home to found out i alread got it, now i can just check 1st. I read a lot of series and I've had to re jig the titles so they go in reading order which it's great when you have hundreds of books. Would be great if it could give u the next book in the series and Mark it as a book u need to buy. It would save me time if I scanned 1st book in the series and then get me the next one so I didn't to scan every book in series. Book release dates would me handy, like a notification. This y I have not given 5 stars there is room for improvement.
I'm still adding books in my home to this library. I'm also still figuring out how to share my library and do what I need it to do. But being a homeschool mom and a lover of books... I am not sure how many we have, but I know it's a lot. And I needed a way to organize and be able to look up what we have. With this app so far I can do that.

Hello Angell, thanks a lot for your comment! Good luck for your inventory :) Share will be improved in the future! My Library is a wonderful app, exactly what I needed. I have a large collection of books and am unable to remember which ones I have anymore, which was making it difficult to continue purchasing additional books without worrying about purchasing duplicates. I love that it includes a photo of the cover, which makes it easier for me to recall the particular tome. I love that you can export and backup the data, cause I would be honestly never make the list again if it were lost. The app is simple and small. Feels very light on its feet. My Library can export to the phone or a Google account and can make an Excel spreadsheet out of the list. Beautiful. My only complaint would be that it is often unable to find the book through scanning of the UPC, but I suspect that is the fault of the book seller and not the app, since manual input of the ISBN brings the book up immediately. Whomever created this app has my deepest thanks. The Hunt continues now with greater efficiency. Oh my poor wallet. 🤓
BEST APP EVER! 😍😍😍 I tried a lot of apps but this is the best one! It finds almost all the titles and it's very precise! There's also a part for comics! Even if sometimes you have to put the details by yourself because it doesn't recognize the ISBN it's not so difficult and it doesn't take so long, so YOU SHOULD DOWNLOAD IT RIGHT NOW! 😍❤❤❤
It's a great app! One problem I have is that is like to be able to sort them into series. For example, Rick Riordan has multiple series but, since it sorts them by author it mixes the series and can be quite annoying. Not sure if there is a fix for this but if possible it would be a much loved change.
Very nice app. Happy to store both books and comics. I used to have Booksapp on my old phone but couldn't move my library. I use now this app but there are a lot of errors: wrong or miswritten titles (symbols instead of letters), missing author's name... Besides it would be nice to order by edition or collection and rate books. The problem is that I spend too much time correcting errors whereas it's supposed to be fast. If it's possible to fix all this it would become the best bookstoring app!
With a library of thousands of books cataloguing them is really important for me. The last app I used lost my whole collection (I was gutted after all the time and effort it took to scan them in) So, I've started all over again - this app is very quick to use, intuitive with a great, user friendly interface. I'm backing up as I go along, so I feel more secure that my work won't be lost. Can't thank the developers enough for making this available!

Thanks a lot for your comment! I am loving this app! I have over 500 paper books, I used to save written lists of books I have so I wouldn't buy them again, that got annoying and tiring really fast and I stopped doing it which resulted in me having duplicate books. Now when I see a book I like all I have to do is look it up on the app, cross reference with my over 1500 digital downloads and voilà no more repeats!
I just barely got this app and have only a few books put on it. I'm still learning how to use it but so far really like how easy it is to use. Really like the notes so I can keep track of who I've loaned books too and all. I'm not sure what the export and import are for. But really like it so far. Wish it could be put on a tablet and could be used for music CDs and movie DVDs.
Worked well for the first 10 odd books. But then it stopped scanning the ISBNs properly and have had to manually add for the next 20 odd books. Is there something wrong with the app?
I loved how easy it was to use! I haven't quite gotten to messing with the rest of the app but it's saved a lot of time cataloguing all the books and helps keep track of them all.

Thank you for your comment! I like the look of the app, but I am unable to import books from another app and I'm not going to re-scan 600 books. Actually the other app does export as a csv, but your app will only import a xls file. Finally got the xls file worked out, now I get error message that I don't have a books or comics sheet in my file. Added them, still won't import. I think I need to give up.

Hello Joann, I'm sorry you did not like the app. But what did you expect? That this app, made by only one guy, will be compatible with all other apps in the market? That being said, you can import data from an XLS file, meaning that you just have to convert your CVS into an XLS within Excel and then you will be able to import your previous data. I'm trying to import a combined library from my two phone's to one shared tablet. It is telling me that there is no author column but there is. What am I doing Wrong?
I've been trying to figure out the best way to keep track of the books I own without havi g to write them all down. This app is just what I was looking for. So easy to use and I love that I can mark when the book has been read. Only problem is that now I realize how many unread books I have!
I love this app! I have entered about half of my library. I can't wait to finish and then review and discover all the other things this app has to offer!
The only downside to this app is you have to key in all the ISBN numbers manually. Using a bar code reader will not bring up most ISBN numbers. Good app but could be improved on. Recommend you make this app where users could upload their library so future users will have access to easier scans. Might help to build your catalog of ISBN numbers.
Love this app, very quick when scanning a new book only down side is adding a book manually I havent found a way yet to search for it I have had to put in all the details manually but then no picture of the book but apart from that it's great

I hope to add web search in the future :) I love that I can pull it up without service/Wi-Fi when I'm in a store and trying to remember if I already bought a book or not. I do wish it had a place to put a "to buy list" or "wish list" but it's great to keep track of what's read and what's not. What's bought and what's not.

I love the feature "add comment" because you can title it and then search your whole library using those titles. For example: a comment title might be, "Lent to" so you never lose track of where all of your books go!
After adding over 1300 books in the last week or so (almost done with the living! then on to the bedrooms) I'm very happy with it. I've found multiple duplicates, which I expected, but hopefully this helps avoid them in the future. I have found it quick and simple to use.

I have a lot of bookcases and it would be good if you could note down the location of each book. Eg.. Bookcase 1 shelf A, so you can always find it.

May i just suggest that you add more space for possible pictures so i can take a picture of the table of content. I guess it will really be helpful than to type the each content in the description. I love that this app holds both my book library and my comic library in one place with no limits or force to purchase after a certain number of books added.
Perfect. Does what it says it does. Lots of opportunities to go back and change or add things. Gives images too. Adds DVDs like books too. Very useful.
Have only been using it for a day so haven't learned all the features but I love the concept- all my books in one place. I've been looking for something like this for years!
Very handy to keep track of what you have and what you've read. I look forward to added features, in particular I hope for additional sorting features (such as sub-categories like publication date).
This is a nice clean app but could do with the addition of a couple of small features. Being able to rate a book and to mark a book as currently reading. The ability to sort by those points would be good too.
O like the app but it is a pity that is not automatically 'synchronizable' online to have always a backup.
First library app I've used and I love it. Input 140+ books in less than half hour!

Did exactly what I need it to do for tracking my children's book collection for preschool. I'm able to use keywords and themes to easily find books when I need them! Thanks.
I wish it had a folder for books i got rid of and didn't like. So i don't accidentally buy it again later. Other than that, I love it.
