Best app that i found till now! great work! its nice app for common man who can't afford a DSLR. if people come to know using this app very well then they can make any pic look as good as DSLR! but I'm giving only 3 stars because when we save picture after editing it's resolution gets low! that is the only one thing which i did not like in the app. you should provide full resolution in this app also which is available in pro. 😅

Tutorial!! Getting started (kind of) For those saying it isnt working. On the left you have icons (top 3) select each one and make selections on the image i.e top icon then select your object, then next icon select behind object, then next icon down select the rest of the background. You need to do this before hitting next or none of the blurring will work! Not a bad app but give 3 stars as a better tutorial within the app is needed for novice users or they will keep giving 1 stars and leaving the app.

Well making photos look like a dslr shot by only using softwere is difficult. But still AfterFocus is one of the apps which manages nearly 80% accuracy while selecting focus area. If focus area is selected properly photos look great. But most of the time it is very difficult to differentiate hair locks from the backgroung. Also if background is dark green (trees), hair and background becomes same. After a hard work a good result can be obtained. Nonetheless surely it is a great fun app. Just refine its working procedure and focus selection and i'll give it 5 stars.

So far I don't try it yet but I give you 5 stars because it was so glad to know that you have been trying to make an app like a dslr for those people who loves photography. It really help us a lot specifically those who don't have dslr but likes to have one. Good idea!

Must have app App is simply nice. Selection modes are also very easy and hassle free. Only one thing which disappoints me, lack of filters. Instead of filter please give colour curve option with predefined filters so we can edit filters also, last but not least... This app have easy and simple selection method so i suggest you to introduce a feature for background manipulation.

The overall app is awesome and worth 5 stars. I couldn't find any other app like this on Play Store..!!! Must have app for editing ppl... One thing that it lacks is that it doesn't have any option to crop the background. So I think it must have that feature to make it to 5 stars ratings(at least mine).

Used to love this. Used to be east to use. Haven't used in a while but noticed it updated it's logo. Did what i used to do to select focus area doesn't blur background or I can't figure it out now so see ya! You are taking up much needed space now. Uninstalled.
Gr8 app for ammeture editors and dslr Freaks Who really cant afford a DSLR if u got a Good phone camera you are good to go..... Just takes a couple of minutes for a quick edit and yes!!! You are damn Done.... Cheers!! And great work Team After Focus!!!
Poor image quality just after importing the image from the gallery. The image becomes poor. It has good and easy blur mechanisms but it just make the image quality bad. Tried to change settings on menu on how to save the image with just the same quality but it just made it worse. I can't keep using it. In swahili "sijaipenda kabisa na sijaielewa "
I have no clue why this app is highly rated. This is good for nothing. All the tools does more or less the same thing - blurring. No tool tips makes it even confusing. Can't imagine, someone will find this useful. I wasted time and energy for a useless app. Please run away from this app.
Great app to make the 'bokeh' effect visible while using normal phone cameras. Don't be fooled by these negative reviews, they just don't know how to use the app properly. Watch youtube videos on how to use the app n you'll be a pro photographer in minutes!
Awsome App I love this app... it's a really good app and it give good blur to photos just like a dslr... now after installing this app i don't need dslr, if any one don't believe then send me itself photos in inbox,I will make your photos blurring just like dslr photos.
Hmmmmm... I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if this just doesn't work on my phone (Huawei Mate) but I can't get it to work. Would love some input from anyone who knows about this app!!
No need of DSLR Little complicated...! But if you spend sometime it will be easier. One of the best app I have seen so far for focusing. Don't buy DSLR(if you are planning to ;) ). Full marks
It doesn't seem to work. It doesn't apply blur effects. Not sure if I'm not using it right. Updated review: I didn't know how to use the app. Had to look online. Please have videos on how to use the app.
It's a good application but the tutorial is poor.kindly make a demo video. I initially didn't understand anything but then after watching a YouTube video,I got it "Saved file" resolution should b improved.
Pretty useful, worth trying I have noticed people complain about this app because it requires they actually do something, ie mask out what they want in focus. If you can do that, the program does an excellent job, and is worth the attention of any one who knows their stuff. The bad: terrible compression on all the exports that manifests in pattern noise. Fix that and this app would have no notable flaws
Until the developer puts more heart n soul to improve the HELP n TUTORIAL then I will buy the PRO version. Two liners are lazy work .
Superb,fab,excellent app to blur background of photo This is the best app in the world i know..for blurring of pic..excellent app.But I a m giving only 4 stars. Because when we save picture, quality and size of image is decreasing. I request a lot to fix this. Thank you.
I used to use this program a lot but now I see you have allowed yourselves to "Improve" it to the point where it can't be logically useful. I just gave up trying after some wasted effort to succeed as in the past. This is another case where if it works, leave it alone. I'm downrating the review and graciously giving a 2 star.
Best editing app!!! Gud app for editing, blur like DSLR..... But there is one problem when we save editing pic then suddenly a pop up coming... Likes ad... After all this is best editing app. Easy to use.... And useful app....
All after effect bokeh apps are terrible but this one really annoyed me as you don't simply draw a few lines. You draw a few hundred lines and then the app crashes and you lose all your hard work
Finally I founded a Fantastic app This is Awesome. I advice to you download this and fully enjoyed. This is too gud but one mistake it has don't save image in SD card plz solve it
Amazing app for getting a good standout image without much of a do. Please incorporate effect like DSLR's where in the blur effect increases with distance , the closer objects are less blurred out and the farther objects are more. That feature would make it a masterpiece app.
Dear MotionOne, This app is the only great app with bokeh features and background blurring, subject focus etc. But I had a request. You can add Gaussian blur, Lens blur, Smart blur and Radial blur. Best background bluer effect photo editor app in play store. Very easy to use, you can install it free.... & You can download this pro version, but not free..(This pro version $1.78)
Excellent Dslr bokeh effect Excellent is the application. Possessing the Galaxy Note or Stylus ,s pen any, Mobile app is great for them. The outer line to make , the finger is useless to try. But not great finish .
It Just Doesn't Work I highlighted the focus area with some lines and then when I hit next nothing changed. I tried applying the bokeh effect and it still doesn't change anything. What did I do wrong?

This app is good but not yet great, it reducing photo's quality. All image snapped with autofocus/manual focus mode turn into worst like no focus.
Wow, this app is very unintuitive. It's like the developers actually did not want users to figure out how to use it properly. I've used many photo editing tools, all which had a more funding user interface, tools, and functions compared to this one. I'd highly recommend looking around for other apps first, you should find one that meets your needs outside of disclosing this one. I'm deleting this ASAP.

Good app It’s getting better... The zoom in tool is quite annoying really... The filtering tool only have contrast n brightness, need more option.
Don't try to have a dslr... Simply best among all. But editing technique should be learn. I think just hard. It lacks the clarity of pic otherwise best... love it......
This app does a lot better than I thought if would. Photos come out looking clean, and you have lots of effects you can apply.

I just loved this app. From many a days I was searching for a perfect app that would blur the pictures very well. After so many days I got this app. This perfectly adjust bluring . and cut ur picture perfect. But just want one more feature to be included. Then this app will be more perfect. i.e. background changer mode.. Plz add this feature.. At last it's a great app. Plz install it..U will surely get impressed by it.. Ty.
Amazing app. Does a great job at mimicking dslr bokeh and focus effects. My only complain is .. why there is no RADIAL option in the Fading BG button!!
