Lo-res Slightly ruins my pics but overal it's a really nice photo editing app. Please update the app and fix the issues. More decent quality of saved pictures, new filters. We didn't pay for these standard editing features we can get in other free apps. You can't abandon Android users like this.

Very good but... It's a little lacking First of all this app is a bargain, it comes with a ton of presets and features for a relatively cheap price tag. There's just a few things missing, one it would be nice if you could just target a specific area with the filter, like you could set a parameter and that would be the only area that the filter would be applied to. Secondly, it would be great if you could put some brush tools of some sort. Thirdly, batch processing would also be very nice. Fourthly, and last a preview button would be nice.

Just switched from an iPhone to Android. iPhone version you could swipe through photos before picking the best one, and if you returned to the album screen, it was where you left off in the feed. With the Android version, you scroll through a bunch of photos to get to the one you want, click it, can't scroll to the next one, and then when you go back to select a different one, you get sent back to the select album page and have to start all over again to find the photo you want! This is critical for anyone who takes more than one photo of their subject (i.e. everyone), and makes it significantly harder to use. Was a 5 star app on iPhone, is a 3 start app on Android 😔

It was the Best :( I loved this app. I just wish their costumer service wasn't so unresponsive. Ever since I switched phones from a galaxy to Meizu Mx5 it wouldn't load and I stopped getting updates. I wrote a bunch of emails wondering how the problem can be fixed and have gotten no reply. Seriously, even a "Hi, we have no idea how to fix that" would have been nice, but getting no response at all is just shameful. Thank you for the "great" treatment you give to a paying customer.

Its almost perfect! Except I can't zoom in! I'm just looking for a camera that's better than my standard phone one and most are all made just for filters. This is a great camera! and the filters are just a plus but I can't zoom in! That's the only problem with it! so if that could be fixed,it'd be perfect! that is a real problem with a lot of these apps. So if anyone knows of a great basic camera,please,let me know 😊

This is a well made app that is mostly easy to use. I got this to roundout some edging. I also found that I like its granular image controls. My biggest gripe with it is that it does not allow for use in landscape mode. It would make using it much more comfortable on my tablet. And while I would prefer a pay model where I only need to pay once (either up front or as an in app purchase) both purchases seem well worth the price.

I loved this app so much on my iPhone, but since switching to android I find it's lacking some things; where is the fusion option? I used that a LOT and now I can't, it's quite frustrating. I also noticed the extra filter packs for purchase aren't there either... major let down. I'd give 5 stars otherwise.
WHERE THE CRAP DID MY FUSION FILTERS GO?!?!! I love this app but it seriously need help.... first, the fusion filters (where you create and save your own filters) was simply amazing but I don't see it on the app anymore... second, where the heck is a dang hue adjustment when you need one? I had to download another photo editing app just for that purpose.. same with the photo merging.. like, what the crap??? I would love to see negative, emboss and more useful creative filters as well. Love the app but for God's sake, bring back the goods...
Double exposure, where did you go? I have a galaxy note 5 and I have always love the double exposure feature which I feel is really unique and a great tool! It used to be in the crop/rotate menu as the last option. It's been a couple of months but when I went to find it, it has vanished! Help.
Fantastic App But... The new updates need to be released to non-apple users. I want to edit my photos just as well or as interesting as others, but of course, android users are just pushed aside and ignored. Also, when trying to apply or adjust a setting on a photo, it crops out a large portion at the bottom of my photo so that i cant see it.
I've used after light for years and love how easy it make minor editing. However, I've also had a long time problem where I can't edit more than 2-3 photos in one sitting otherwise the app will stop working. Ill try to make an edit and the picture I'm editing won't show up while I'm editing it. It happened on my iPhone and still happens on my pixel. It seems they don't care enough to go back in and fix bugs.
If you are planning on spending your money on this app: DON'T! It's nothing like the version for iOS. It has much fewer filters, which are not that good and it hasn't had any improvements since the Android launch. You'd be better off with VSCO Cam if you are willing to spend money, and if not, there plenty other apps which would work as good/as bad as Afterlight. When they decide to give as much attention to this app as they give to the iOS version, maybe it will be worth trying.
Great app BUT BUGs It's a great photo editing app, but PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE BUGS FOR ANDROID. My app on my iPhone never stopped working and restarted....making me lose ALL my progress on my photo editing. For a paid app, this bug should have been fixed a long time ago.
Random Crashing I bought this app and am using it on my Samsung Galaxy S3. The first few edits were perfect, i love all the features and even decided to buy the additional polaroid pack. BUT now everytime i use it the app will random crash, freeze, and ultimately restart to the apps home page. I will fix my rating once i can PROPERLY use this app I PAID for.
Samsung s5📱📱 I so very much love this app! I dont have any problems like the others. But then i'm wondering where is the other filter packs like seasons or wonder pack? I've seen it on the afterlight fb and ig page but i cant see it here. Is it only avail at ios??
Crashes I worked on an image for 15 minutes and the app just returns back to the home screen suddenly, all my adjustments are gone! VSCO and Snapseed never have such problem for my phone, even editing images taken with my DSLR, let alone an image taken with my phone. I'm so disappointed.
IOS version is better This app has good filters but we don't have the same packs as IOS users have which I do t understand why they haven't put them on Android yet. And if I buy an app I don't expect to have to buy more stuff on the app like filter packs but it's OK I can overlook it bc this app is pretty good. Not as good as VSCO Cam
So have so much control over everything! After finding out that a lot of my favorite photographers from instagram use this, I just had to try it myself. Even though it's $1.00 it's pretty freakin' worth it! What you could do to your photos is sooo pin point! There are no "levels" you just adjust till you see fit!😃👍
Black screen I want to love this app but its hard to when I've paid for it and it doesn't work. I select a picture from my gallery to edit and as soon as I choose the first thing to edit, the area where the picture is turns black. It also spins and spins like its stuck or crashed. :(
Hate the Android version I've been using Afterlight for several months on my iphone and when I changed my phone to the Android phone, I was disappointed. I loved the iOS version so much especially the Wander pack but the Android version? Just a basic photo editing tool that does not worth our money. The features and filters aren't worth it. Please fix this issue, i.e update the Android version. Thank you.
The app has some extensive features but feels clunky. This is the only app I've ever paid for. I recommend the app for photographers but I don't really support this app fully because of a lazy port for android. Can you please implement the same features from ios?
Best editor but I wont give u 5stars till u fix the issue of it going back to main screen randomly in middle of editing... its f***ing annoying does it like every other pic.... so please fox and ill give you 5stars
So so for android version heard so much rave abt this app so decided to dl....but to realised otherwise....My photo did not fit e instant film which I purchased it.... there is a black rim ard my photos within e frame 😒.... the "unfit" issue will not show out in e app before saving but u will realised in ur gallery....PLS FIX IT.... it will be gd if we can preview e pict before we post... alot of work need to be done for android version
I used to use this app on iPhone and I believe it had more features than on android, such as recording the steps you took in editing in order to create your own presets, as well as a few other filters? AND where is double exposure. I love this app, it is the main app I use to edit, and I believe it has the potential to be much better than vsco. That being said I would love to see this app improve further. However, since it has not been updated since 2014, I fear the developers have abandoned us.
Tool problem This app really confusing because doesn't save any interval that I've been used. For example, after using fade tool, if I choose fade again, it will accumulate the effect. Because of this case, I have to remember all of the tools that I've used. Also applying filter really take times, very slow. Please fix it and make it better.
It sucks First off, if you're using this app when you have a samsung s6, you wasted your money. I mean the little effects are cool, but samsungs s6 photo editor that's built into the phone is way more advanced than this app. Don't waste your money on this app.
Has beautiful filters and is easy to use... until you want to share and it needs to be saved then opened in another app, as it reverts to stories and can't be undone. Equally fiddly trying to pick right photos and no intention to do new version... I'm going to jump ship as soon as I find something better.
Goes back to start screen. I've tried to edit a few pictures but keep on getting thrown back to the app start screen for some odd reason.. I wouldn't have expected to have these kinds of problems with something I paid for. - Samsung Galaxy SIII.
APP KEEPS CRASHING Whenever I snap a cool shot, I'll usually go into Afterlight to edit it. But I usually don't get very far, because the app unexpectedly closes when I am editing a picture, without saving it. Afterlight is a great app other than this, and I want to be able to use it.
Where are the android updates?!!! Why are there no updates for android users? Nothing since Sept 2014 exept 'bug fixes'. It's been month's since iPhone users got all the cool and new features. Seriously? But I'm sure I'll be ignored along with all the other android users.
This app appears to be abandoned by the developer. Please don't purchase. It has yet to be updated in almost 3 years. It's iOS rival is superior and sees updates. The developer support is poor and they do not care. I've had no issues with the app on the devices I've used it, just wish they cared enough to continue it for the remaining 85% of the mobile users on the planet.
Ridiculous! This is a fantastic app, if only I were able to actually use it. When I try to edit an image it appears with a loading indicator, which never seems to want to leave. This one fine day, I felt extra generous with my time because I just had to have this filter that did wonders for a particular picture I was editing. I waited 40 MINUTES for that one filter to apply. Then went through the saving process and ttaa-daaa. IT SAVED EXACTLY AS THE ORIGINAL IMAGE I STARTED WITH.
Not so different from free apps out there This app doesn't offer much more than you can get in other photo editing and framing apps. It's okay, but nothing special. You also have to deal with a ton of in-app purchases.
WAS my favorite editing app This used to be my favorite editing app. I'd always recommend it to others. It's frustrating not being able to use it anymore since any adjustments made aren't applied to the photo. Now it just takes up space.
Good but just like any other ediying app, I payed for it bcause everyone is always saying this app is awesome but in my opinion there are a lot of free editing apps that are even better than this one and also I'm not being able to move the app to my sdcard.. my phone's storage sucks and I'm always having to clean the data :/
I would give 5 stars if it didn't crash after I've been working on editing a photo for over ten minutes... it randomly just closes out and deletes my cell phone wallpaper every time, why does it do that? Please fix. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and it deleted extra filters I have purchased and I refuse to pay for them again. Fix the app!
3 stars I have this application on my iPhone and i was very stoked when i found out that it is now available on the Android. I bought the frames package and to my surprise I wasnt too satisfied with how it fits the pictures. I find that the ios version is a lot better in this matter and also the 'Fusion' option has yet to be added (or so I believe). Hopefully this will be solved in the next update. Overall I like this application just a few features can be improved :)
This was my favorite editing app I've ever used. But the Android app hasn't been updated in over 2 years and lacks so many of the features that made this app amazing. I'm sick of developers who always leave behind android users. Disappointed and not worth using anymore.
Clarity function keep loading With anticipation, I tried clarity function right after download. Full of disappointment that the loading circle just keep on turning even after I waited for 5 mins (still turning). Pls fix it. UPDATE: it started to shut down out of a sudden now. I'm getting my refund.
Everything is good. but app crashing o.O while changing colors for the the light Overlays really disappointing editing way long and at last applying lights app crashes waste time :( waiting for bug fixes !!
