Associate Curator of 18th and 19th Century European Painting and Sculpture
The Philadelphia Museum of Art seeks an expert in European painting and sculpture from 1750 to 1850 to play an essential role in implementing the Museum’s mission to interpret, display, and develop the collection. Application deadline: September 15, 2017. Interviews will be conducted in the fall.
Development Services Coordinator
The Development Services Coordinator reports to the Manager of Development Services and serves as an expert in using the query and export functions of the Museum’s fundraising database, The Raiser’s Edge. The coordinator is responsible for creating a wide variety and high volume of campaign and prospect management Crystal reports in an accurate and timely manner for a Development Department of approximately 45 staff members. The Development Services Coordinator is also responsible for data imports and other database duties as assigned.
Development Operations Assistant
The Philadelphia Museum of Art is currently seeking a Development Operations Assistant to directly support the Deputy Director of Development in all aspects of their respective program’s administration. This position will be expected to assist with the coordination of program meetings and materials, maintain departmental orders and supply requests, provide general administrative support, and perform other duties as assigned.

The successful applicant is creative and systematic in their approach to working with their portfolio, and can engage and inspire prospective donors and volunteers.
Sherlock Project Assistant
The Philadelphia Museum of Art will be developing and piloting a new multiple visit program for 5th and 6th graders that aims to improve students’ abilities to observe closely and with purpose, use observations to build arguments and interpretations, create rich questions, imagine multiple solutions and perspectives, and successfully communicate their findings and ideas.
The Sherlock Project Assistant will work closely with the Curator of Education for School and Teacher Programs, other Education staff, an outside Evaluation Team and Middle School teacher fellows to support day to day activities of the Sherlock Middle School Multiple Visit Program Pilot.
Database Developer/Administrator
The Database Developer/Administrator will maximize the uses of all Museum data, leading projects that integrate data from various systems and work to create a data warehouse that will be used to support strategic Museum goals.
