Confirming that with the page in my watchlist and the "Email me when a page or file on my watchlist is changed" setting enabled, I do get emails about changes to pages.

I received the same error about 5 minutes ago when trying to login to Phabricator via MediaWiki. I closed the tab and clicked on the MediaWiki login button again and it worked.
