Pfizer is on a Green Journey. We are integrating environmental sustainability into our business and supplier network. This is another way Pfizer is "Working together for a healthier world.®" Building on a foundation of successful programs, we apply innovative approaches to manage our impact on climate change, improve product stewardship and manage water resources.
Pfizer has a long-standing commitment to protecting our employees' health and safety, the environment and the communities in which we operate. We continue to emphasize full compliance with legal requirements and have developed a clear vision that focuses on where Pfizer's Green Journey can add value.

Pfizer's Environmental Sustainability Goals
Compared with a 2012 baseline, by the end of 2020 Pfizer will:
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20%
- Reduce the amount of waste disposed by 15%
- Reduce water withdrawal by 5% (excluding non-contact cooling water)
Accolades and Recognition

2014: Pfizer achieved its highest climate change disclosure score to date with a 92 received by
Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). - 2013: Pfizer received a disclosure score of 91 in the CDP Index, surpassing an already impressive 87 in 2012.

2012: Pfizer’s was named to CDP’s Carbon Performance Leadership Index for both the Global 500 and the S&P 500
– one of three health care companies to be recognized globally!
