We suggest starting with the number of people in your database, then compare the specific features and services included under each plan. In general, Leader includes essential features for small groups. Organization includes advanced features and services for larger organizations. Enterprise and Network include more extensive customization and support.

How does the free trial work?

Once you start the 14-day free trial, you’ll have complete access to the NationBuilder platform (with the exception of email blasting). We’ll send you helpful resources for getting started. At the end of the trial period, your account will roll into a monthly subscription.

What are my billing options?

You can choose between monthly and annual billing. Monthly billing is based on the number of people in your database at the time of billing. Prepaying for a year comes with a significant 20% discount for customers under the Leader and Organization plans, with any increases in the number of people in your database being pro-rated at that same 20% discount.

What if I want to cancel?

You can pause or shutdown your nation at any time and you will not be charged. You own your own data, so you can always do a full export of your database before you cancel.

What's the difference between number of people vs. of emailable people?

"Pay as you grow" means that pricing is determined by either the number of people or the number of people with opted-in email addresses in your NationBuilder database. For example, you can have 5,000 people in your database and 1,000 of them can be emailable. But if you have 2,000 emailable people, you will need to upgrade your plan to 15,000 people and 3,000 emailable.
