What happens when a guest is removed from your reservation

If you remove a specific guest from your reservation or they remove themselves, they’ll lose access to the trip details, including the address of the host’s place and check-in instructions. They’ll also be removed from the group message thread with your host and can no longer access or send messages.

When guests can be removed from your reservation

You can remove specific guests from your reservation any time before the trip ends—this means before check-in or while your reservation is in progress.

Guests can’t be removed or remove themselves from past reservations.

If you need to change the number of guests on your reservation

The number of guests can be changed for reservations that are in progress or haven’t yet started. If you need to change your guest count, find out how to add or remove guests on your reservation.
