I'm not sure it is, but then the correct comparison would involved lots of assumptions about plausible counterfactuals and how we calculate the value of labour

I hear you, and I'm only for another referendum because it might stop brexit. My reading is this one way for UCU members to show they are against Brexit, even thought it isn't the only mechanism (or even a good mechanism) for stopping Brexit
