Reducing environmental destruction to individual choices is done to purposefully obscure how things are produced & the relations of production. When we start talking about that shit, then we have to talk about extractive industry, capitalism, & major corps role in climate change.

power to all the community members holding it down at blocking entrances and demanding a pride without police. its wild that 50 years of pride has turned into a necessary inter-community challenge about the positionally and need/lack of for police.

These do not just affect women--they also affect transgender, intersex and other gender-nonconforming people. And we need to include these folx in our movement for reproductive justice. at

Since 2014, at least 110 transgender women have been murdered. 88 of those women were black.

As I celebrate another year of existence, I reflect and ask my cis friends to stand up for our trans community and to pay attention to what’s happening especially to the murders of Black trans women. We must all stand together to end the violence!

Amazing day of strategy conversations about how to build up young people and their communities rather than criminalizing them.

One of the JOBS of an organizer is to encourage the colonized masses to BELIEVE liberation is possible. We can tell sobering truths w/o utter pessimism. We help our people understand systems were created by people (not some impenetrable entities) & can be destroyed by people too.

Support disabled lgbtq content creators. Send us opportunities. Publish us. Buy us groceries. All of these things are important.

How will you create opportunities for disabled lgbtq folks of color? How will you make sure we have a seat at the table?

The OIG has conducted three audits since March 2013. Increasingly evident with each is the high occurrence of racial profiling. Join us on Tuesday June 11th at 8:30AM outside LAPD Headquarters, 100 W 1st Street, Downtown LOS Angeles, 90012 as we say NO to SAR!

Implemented in 2008, SAR & its companion program iWATCH, aka "See Something, Say Something," create a culture of suspicion and paranoia, leads to fear-mongering and racial profiling, and creates a strong potential for violence against those considered “suspicious”

So much strength coming from the family of tonight at a vigil at the spot where 2 years ago tonight LAPD Officers Urrutia and Ramirez gunned down and ran over Eric. Absolutely shameful to see officers roll by tonight in their black unmarked, parking up the block.
