טרמפ, שרוצה להיבחר, אינו מתלהב לתקוף ומשגר שליחים לניהול משא ומתן חשאי. המפסידה העיקרית עלולה להיות ישראל. טרמפ עשוי כל כך לרצות לסמן הישג היסטורי, ששוב יגיע לעיסקה בדומה לצפון קוריאה, משהו שהוא יוכל לקרוא לו פיתרון אבל בעצם יהווה המשך המצב הקיים (והמסוכן).
