Homeless shelters always need donations of new socks, small toilet articles, soap pods for laundry, call your local shelter if you want to do more thank you . The Ywca Of Cleveland runs the Norma Herr women’s shelter.

The brother of a friend of mine lives in a home with other men who need mental health support. The men love getting plain tube socks for Christmas and Hanukkah, bc they are easy to match for one thing. Of course, all the other days of year are good, too, for sock-giving. :)

At Target I buy bras in all sizes. Stores turn over merch so quickly that you get name brands for under $10 and buy more. I take them to @MarysPlaceWA. No one should be without clean underwear.

For those who drive more, it’s also great to have things like socks, travel toiletries, etc., in the car so you have them at the ready for homeless folks at street corners, etc.

Yup. There's a Spare Change vendor in Harvard Square that I love--have been seeing him since 1998 when I moved here, and I'm always happy when I do. And I try and buy from him when I can.
