If they didnt already know who Josh Gibson was I'd be shocked and a bit sad...thank you for safeguarding an incredible and deep history.

And I was privileged to see Mr. Easter play 1B at an old timers game at Anaheim (Angels) Stadium in August 1970. What happened to the good gentleman was terribly tragic and so very unfair and wrong.

Mr. Luke Easter was a chief union steward for a TRW office in Euclid, Ohio. He was at the bank to cash $35,000 worth of employees' checks, as it was part of his job. Upon exiting the bank, he was confronted by 2 armed men who murdered him when he refused to hand over the money.

THIS IS A MUST LISTEN! The NLBM is vibrant place of life, meaning it breaths history into the very soul of every single person who walks through the doors. The preservation of this piece of Americana is a MUST, and there is no better caretaker then Bob Kendrick

Can you confirm if Mr. Easter ended up working as a bank guard in Cleveland, and was killed in a robbery in 1979?
