That’s where 2 things come into play: reps and focus on completion. I build protocols that kids will do 10-15 times. Start with a low bar and a fast tempo. As they acclimate to the work, everyone starts the next day ready to work.

Some kids would rather DIE than raise their hand. I love love love the Private Comments in . Ask students to STOP and leave a note in Google Classroom on how confident they feel about that assignment. You can reply back privately.
