To be clear, Israel’s wall is NOT a “border wall” at all, it’s a universally-condemned structure built on Palestinian territory in defiance of Int’l law specifically to steal land & impose total control over an occupied civilian population by a brutal foreign army. (2/3)

Around 4 pm on January 11, Abdel Raouf Salha, 13, was struck in the head by an Israeli-fired tear gas canister in Jabalia, North Gaza. He was 150 meters from the Gaza perimeter fence. He sustained skull fractures and severe brain trauma. He died around 5 pm on January 14. pic.twitter.com/tuXx6XVdxt

It’s not anti-Jewish to hold Jewish orgs accountable that apply pressure to cancel awards or get people fired from jobs bc they support justice in Palestine. It’s also not anti-Jewish to point out that many Jewish orgs have power to exert their influence in damaging ways.

Every day we are sliding further away from democracy into an oligarchic form of government.

You see Palestinians did not invent Boycotts, Divestment or Sanctions. They've been used in many struggles and continue to be every day. But it is the use of these tactics for Palestinian rights that is *uniquely* denied.

I know 100 senators who support BDS. Some have called/voted for sanctions on Saudi Arabia, or Iran, or China or Russia.
They support using such tactics for lots of things, just not for the rights of Palestinians. That is the hypocrisy and the exception. twitter.com/jaketapper/sta…
