These documents are disappointing, and they reinforce the need for advocacy for survivor rights and for our mission. Survivor rights are human rights, and we’re in this fight.

Survivors, parents, friends, advocates, nurses, doctors, professors, deans, and principals deserve to be heard. The Department of Education did not spend nearly enough time with survivors and in fact spent more time studying perspectives of the accused.

The Department of Education just released documents that show a failure to follow through on their promise to listen to survivors. EROC demands and hear the voices of those affected by sexual violence on campus.
