מצד אחד, עניתי על שאלה בסטאק אוברפלואו ואני מרגישה כמו בוס. מצד שני, היתה שם כבר תשובה שהשואל עשה לה אקספט, והתשובה שלי היתה בקטע של ״יש דרך לעשות את זה יותר טוב״, אז יצא שאני תורמת להשוואת הגדלים הבלתי פוסקת בתכנות. סך הכל... pic.twitter.com/eJEQQgnY4z

I see what you're saying - it's reactive programming *without* the paradigm shift, since the reactive part is all hidden. I guess what bothers me about that is that it hinders the developer from understanding what happens and reasoning about it accurately
|

It's true that it doesn't expose an API for devs to write responsive code, but that's not its purpose. It's built to share state that changes over time, and in that sense- of handling values that change over time- it is responsive.
but like I said, I'm not sure I get it myself :)

You might get started with it quickly - since implementation is mostly a bunch of decorators, but if you want to really wrap your head around it, that's not straightforward at all.
What am I missing?

לא הסכימו.
ולא רק שלא הסכימו, אמרו לי ש״ההטבה״ שלה אני זכאית גבוהה יותר אפילו מהסכום שאני משלמת עכשיו.
ולא רק זה, הנציגה שלהם חזרה שוב ושוב על המילה ״הטבה״ כאילו אם היא תגיד את זה מספיק פעמים זה ישכיח ממני את העובדה שההטבה הזו גבוהה בשתי עשיריות האחוז *מהעלות הממוצעת*

הנה למה חברות ביטוח הן פח של זבל טהור. כלל שלחה לי פירוט רבעוני על איזו תכנית שיש לה, שבו מופיע ממוצע דמי הניהול הנגבים בתכנית. דמי הניהול שנגבים גבוהים יותר, לכן ביקשתי מהם להוריד את דמי הניהול לממוצע. נחשו מה קרה?

I agree that if the execution is flawless, then simple can also work and get you far. But I also feel like if you're going on a baking competition, you need to venture outside the flavor comfort zone at least occasionally
