Just opened cataract theatre in Nenagh. 2000 cataract procedures here in 2019. This will not just benefit Mid West region but also nationally. €1 million investment. 2017 - more than 10,000 patients awaiting cataract surgery. 2018 - reduced to 6,600 & falling. Down 33% so far.

Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a lung disease that occurs when lung tissue becomes damaged and scarred. On Wed, November 7 we are hosting a patient information evening from 7pm , Ennis. The event is for patients, families & friends of those impacted by the disease.

Please consider all care options as ED is very busy today with high numbers of patients with complex care needs. Injury units open today in Ennis, Nenagh & St John’s. We apologise to patients and their families for long waits & are working hard to reduce.
