Ernest Simon BEM. His testimony includes him witnessing Kristallnacht and seeing Torahs burn in the street. He often holds talks with young people to share his experiences and is being honoured for his contribution to Holocaust Education.

Walter Kammerling BEM. Walter came to Britain on the Kindertransport in 1939. His parents and one of his sisters perished in the Holocaust. Later he served for the British Army in Belgium and the Netherlands. Visit to find information on his testimony.
