A steering wheel slightly smaller that the standard cruise ship item fixed that particular issue !

Air suspension & Reccaro SVX seats sort that out. Doesn't take a lot to turn a Defender into what Landrover should have sold rather than what they did sell. I have a deposit on the new one but not feeling the love based on what I've seen so far, looks like my classic will stay

Quite a lot more noise from them and not as sure footed as the all terrains - not too bad though really and have lived with them fine for 5k miles

I’m going to do the Bowler brake upgrade so went with these on looks and knowledge they would clear the bigger callipers - drives much nicer on 18”s & the BFG all terrains much quieter than the mud terrains

18” from Bowler - had 16” maxtrax on BFG mud terrains on before and these seem much better

Yes im talking combinable really of course but there are 3 pillars of conservation ag only one if them is - the 2 other principles are perfectly doable in root / veg system & probably even more valuable / important

Best thing politics can do to help is stay out of it and stop distorting markets. Current sub system encourages inefficiency and environmental damage quite often

Can’t agree with that - what makes sense for the environment makes sense for the bottom line is certainly my experience.

What matters is what results in the best possible bottom line - many ways to crack a nut and that’s what makes farming such an interesting business

Whats also important is you benchmark with others producing the same outputs however so pointless a root crop farm comparing to a combinable crops only farm etc

“choice” should be predominately decided by what drives the highest profits so yes I think capital / ha is a VERY important metric for anyone running a business
