Today Americans celebrate Independence Day & our nation’s unity & freedom. Happy to all Americans, including our soldiers & diplomats who defend & represent us overseas, some of them in places like Russia, China, & Venezuela, where freedom is under attack every day. 🇺🇸

We owe a debt of gratitude to the Allied soldiers who gave so much, and in many cases, all, to secure the freedom and peace that we still enjoy today.

75 years ago, 132,600 Allied soldiers demonstrated immeasurable courage on the beaches of Normandy in the fight to liberate Europe from the Nazis. Today we remember the men & women who lost their lives to defend freedom & liberty.
