It is 9:32 A.M. Eastern Time At this moment 50 years ago the Apollo 11 Saturn V space vehicle lifted and carried astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin toward the moon. Aldrin, Class of 1950, and Collins, Class of 1952, were both West Point graduates.
