One victim had 3 scans that missed his diagnosis when finally detected though his persistence he was offered appointment months away. Family had to fight system for earlier appointment. Patient is now terminally ill. Had to fight for grant for downstairs toilet. Family devastated

Victims of the Kerry Hospital misdiagnosis scandal should not be forced to go to court to get justice. That they have to fight for hospital appointments, treatment and support from state is a disgrace. Government must ensure wrap around services & settle claims.
