Hi Caroline, our railway is fenced, patrolled by security and sometimes our helicopter too, but people do still sadly sometimes trespass.

Hi everyone, you are correct - this one is on us. We had a problem with the electricity supply to four sets of points at Preston Park, which meant we had to lock them in place until we could get power back. The problem is fixed now but we are sorry for the delays you experienced.

Hi Jason, a set of points just outside Waterloo East "lost detection" which means we couldn't see if they were correctly locked in place. For safety reasons we had to take Platform B out of action until our techs fixed it (by 8.30am). We're really sorry for the delays today.

Hi Ryan we had an issue with a set of points at Ewer St junction just outside Waterloo East, which meant we had to take Platform B out of action there for 30mins. It was fixed at 8.30am and we are sorry if you were delayed on your way in today.

Hi all, the only work we have going on at Denmark Hill is strengthening Windsor Walk bridge. Work is ongoing and we have a block on the railway this next May Bank Holiday to do the major stuff. Check before you travel!

Hi Tracy, that is because the biggest flows are from the front of the arriving trains, and therefore both escalators are needed to clear people from the platforms quickly.

Hi Len, the old roof covered some of the platforms (up to around 7 cars) and the canopies on 1-6 were the same, meaning passengers bunched up underneath it when it rained. The new canopies run the full length of every train and there is a covered concourse below too.
